This is a professional grade product that far exceeds my needs or abilities, however I am in a position to appreciate it's potential. It is designed for a high end home PC or a work station. It is designed to support sophisticated drawing tablets and video drawing tablets which may cost as much as the attached PC which is running the program itself.

Corel has successfully digitally imitated the effects of the actual drawing, painting and blending processes. Painter emulates the processes of pen and pencil, pastel and charcoal, oil painting, water painting and the associated blending, spraying , texturing and layering processes. This is a tool for the serious digital artist One serious consideration however is that unless you wish to limit your work to black and white or to displaying your colored works on a computer screen you will need access to a very good color printer to gain maximum benefit from this program.

I have a Wacom tablet that I wanted a code to install the program on there. I installed the disk on my desktop and works great on my desktop Wacom. First of all the person I got spoke only a few words of English, 2nd he had no knowlege of the product at all, he was trying to tell me the program I just purchased does not work on Windows Well it works perfect on windows 10 since that is what I have, also the box and here on Amazon says it does. These places seriously need to get people that understand the product and that speaks English.

On a fine retina display, they get difficult to see as one attempts to learn the new program. I really do like the fact that when mousing over all the new tools, and controls, a pop-up appears to tell you what effect they will have on your brush, etc. A very deep program, it'll be interesting and a challenge to investigate it and get accustomed to it.

Excellent digital painting tool which is still more advanced than Photoshop on brushes for hand drawing and painting. Wish further improvements on seamless transferring. I love it, it is one of the best programs for artist, they have more than pencils, I don'y even finish to check all of them!
